<p class="title">It has been a year of many landmark occasions for Arjun Maini and the Bengaluru lad took another step towards his quest of rising to the pinnacle of motorsport.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Arjun, who drove for Jenzer Motorsport in GP3, confirmed he had begun testing with two different Formula2 teams in a move that could soon see him facing a more challenging field.</p>.<p class="bodytext">After having a run out with Trident on day 1, Arjun will complete his post-season testing with Russian Time on day two and three at Abu Dhabi. </p>.<p class="bodytext">"It will be intriguing to challenge myself in what is currently amongst the best cars in the F2 series. The ability to drive a car that has delivered some great results this season is an exciting thought and I look forward to the two remaining days of testing," said Arjun.</p>.<p class="bodytext">In 2017, soon after signing with the Haas F1 team as a development driver, Arjun became the first Indian to win a GP3 race. The 19-year-old followed it up with another podium finish in Race 1 at the season-ending Grand Prix in Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, to end ninth in the overall standings.</p>
