MP takes to Twitter against police dept

MP Pratap Simha, took to social media to express his displeasure over the Mysuru district police and district administration, after his release from the police custody.

The MP, who was released on Sunday late night, has tweeted that the district administration and the police had ensured smooth celebration of Tipu Jayanti and Eid Milad procession at the same place. "But we can't take out Hanuma Jayanti procession."

The MP also tweeted that "Dear @SPmysuru you are NOT able to arrest the murders of Periyapatna Ravi since 13 months. But successfully scuttling Hanuma Jayanti procession from last 2 years at the behest of state govt! Ask your predecessor, SP Abhinav Khare, how he facilitated Hanuma Jayanti till 2015?!"
