Three more resorts to come up in Bekal

He said that with the development of tourism, hundreds of local people will get employment. He pointed that a resort has been completed in Bekal and three more will be completed by this year end. He informed that Tourism Development Board has been  making profit for the last four years, which is a positive sign.

Irrigation Minister N K Premchandran  informed that within a year as many as five drinking water projects will be started at  Yenmakaje, West Yeleri, Vorkady, Koipady and Balal. As many as 100 drinking water projects will be implemented this year with aid from Japan Bank. MP P Karunakaran, MLAs K V Kunhiraman, C H Kunhabbu, ZP Vice-President Geetha Krishnana and others were present.
