Sridhar considers the film as a continued part of his activism against communalism and fundamentalism. Perhaps to justify this, the audio was released by his activist friends Kodihalli Chandrashekhar, Mavalli Shankar and Siddanagowda Patil. There were many film personalities on the occasion, including veteran producer Chinnegowda, Raghavendra Rajkumar, director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, producer K Manju and Shivarajkumar-Geetha duo.  The film has five songs composed by Sandeep Chowta and lyrics by Ramya Sridhar.

Shivarajkumar is playing a tough police officer who believes that there is nothing wrong in him being violent to contain the violence in the society. But his love interest played by Padmapriya is against this belief. The movie is all about the conflict in the mind of Shivarajkumar’s character. Excited about her role in the movie, Padmapriya said that the entire team of Tamassu was great to work with. “Even though it is my first Kannada movie, I feel that I’ve know the team for long. I play a woman called Shanti who condemns any historical justifications given to justify the violence in the name of religion. But she believes in peaceful measures to curb the violence,” she says.

Shivarajkumar ranks his character as one of the best in his career. He says, “It was not an easy role for me. I had to bring my inner turbulations on my face. Though the topic is quite controversial, the film will not spark any conflict. In every scene, Agni Sridhar convinces the audience about right and wrong.”

Music director Sandeep Chowta called himself as a Bengaluru Huduga. “I had a dream of working with Rajkumar family. Through this film, my desire materialised. The film had a good scope for all kinds of songs. So, there is one mass song called Maar Maar Allah Allah, a pathos song Helu Baro Geleya and a sentimental song Koragadiru Nova. I hope people will accept them, as they have earlier,” he says.
