CM inaugurates devt works in Kadur

Chief Minister initiated development works worth Rs 343 crore at Kadur on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, "the state government has released grants for all the taluks. Priority has been given for the development of six districts in Hyderabad Karnataka region.

Based on the recommendations of Dr D M Nanjundappa, Rs 3,000 crore has been sanctioned for the development of Hyderabad Karnataka region. Rs 500 crore has been given for the development works in Kadur."

Stating that priority has been given for irrigation facilities, he said Upper Bhadra project has been initiated at a cost of Rs 12,340 crore. With the completion of the project, 2.29 TMC water will be available for Kadur.
