<p class="title">Chief Minister initiated development works worth Rs 343 crore at Kadur on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking on the occasion, he said, "the state government has released grants for all the taluks. Priority has been given for the development of six districts in Hyderabad Karnataka region.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Based on the recommendations of Dr D M Nanjundappa, Rs 3,000 crore has been sanctioned for the development of Hyderabad Karnataka region. Rs 500 crore has been given for the development works in Kadur."</p>.<p class="bodytext">Stating that priority has been given for irrigation facilities, he said Upper Bhadra project has been initiated at a cost of Rs 12,340 crore.
