<p>The officials of the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday took stock of the government machinery's preparedness for the upcoming Assembly elections.</p>.<p>The officials, led by Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha, held meetings with the representatives of parties, local election authorities and government officials headed by chief secretary Ratna Prabha and DG & IGP Neelamani Raju at the Vikas Soudha.</p>.<p>They later interacted with deputy commissioners and superintendents of police of districts via video conferencing.</p>.<p>Sources said the officials informed the ECI team that they would complete the election related works by February. </p>
