Five-year old tigress 'Rani' of Pilikula, has been adopted by KIOCL. Union Steel Minister Chowdhry Beerendra Singh's spouse and Haryana MLA Premalatha handed over a cheque for Rs 2.50 lakh to Dr Shiavram Karanth Pilikula Biological Park Director Jayaprakash Bhandary.
Pilikula zoo has 10 Bengal tigers and their maintenance cost is shared by animal lovers and organisations, stated a press release.
