A gang attacked the manager of a petrol pump in Bagalagunte police station limits on Monday for asking them to pay the fuel bill.
The four men came in an Indica car and asked the attendant to fill the tank for
Rs 2,000. When the tank was full, the four sat back in the car and tried to drive away.
The attendant informed his manager, Thimmaraju, who stopped the car and asked them to pay up. But the gang kicked and punched Thimmaraju before driving away.
The manager registered a complaint with the police, who secured the CCTV footage of the entire incident.
The Bagalagunte police are making all efforts to trace the suspects.
