Addressing mediapersons here on Friday, Vice President of M T Educare Trust Prabhakar Shetty said that the college will offer PU courses in PCMB/PCMS/ PCMC and EABS Commerce streams. Nitte University Chancellor Dr N Vinay Hegde will inaugurate the college while Alva’s Education Trust Chairman Dr M Mohan Alva preside over the function, he said adding that MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik will be the guest.
Shetty said that students who secure more than 90 per cent marks will be offered 15 per cent reduction in the fee structure for PU courses. More than 40,000 students complete their education from 153 branches of M T Education Trust every year, he said adding that the institute also trains students for competitive examinations including CET, AIEEE, IIT-JEE, AIIMSS, CPT, IPCC and CA-FINAL. Principal Dr Nithyananda Shetty, Manager Kiran Rao were present.
