<p class="bodytext">Deputy Commissioner D Randeep on Monday said that he has directed Hunsur Assistant Commissioner to take measures to book a case under Motor Vehicle Act against MP Pratap Simha for taking out a road show, during Hanuma Jayanti procession in Hunsur that was held on January 27.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to reporters, the DC said that the jayanti procession was peaceful.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"The district administration had asked the organisers to conclude the programme before 4.30 pm, but, it concluded at 5.30 pm. As the issue was a minor one and no untoward incident was reported, we did not take any legal action. But even though, road shows were banned, a few leaders including MP Pratap Simha took out a procession. I have asked the authorities concerned to register a case under MC Act," the DC said.</p>
