<p>The Anti Rowdy Squad arrested an interstate rowdy at K C Road on the outskirts of Mangaluru.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to the police, the arrested is Mohammed Rafiq alias Nappate Rafiq.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He was arrested on the charge of threatening a woman by forcibly entering her apartment at Kuthar Padavu. There are three murder charges, one attempt to murder and kidnap charges against Mohammed Rafiq. A warrant has been issued against him in Puttur Town and Puttur police stations.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">PDO, secy convicted</p>.<p class="bodytext">The third district and sessions court has convicted Konaje GP PDO (now retired) and secretary for collecting a bribe of Rs 3,000 for issuing a door number to the house.</p>.<p class="bodytext">PDO Savithri and secretary Aboobakar P K had demanded the bribe from Sarika for issuing door number on March 28, 2012. The then Lokayukta Inspector Umesh Shet caught them red handed.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The court has asked them to undergo a one-year simple imprisonment and also pay a fine of Rs 5,000.
