<p>The students studying in primary schools will soon learn about camels as the Rajasthan government has decided to include a chapter on the "ship of the desert" in the curriculum, DHNS reports from Jaipur.</p>.<p>As per Cattle Raiser Welfare Board, children will be informed about camels at the primary education itself. Short stories on camels, their photographs and chapters will be included in school courses.</p>.<p>The government has prepared an action plan for the growth of camel population.</p>.<p>The departments concerned have prepared plans to ensure employment to the families engaged in rearing camels, declared the state animal in 2014.</p>.<p>According to the last camel census done in 2012, the population of the animal in Rajasthan declined from 7.46 lakh in 1992 to 3.25 lakh.</p>
