Rahul Gandhi infused strength into Cong men, says Kagodu

Revenue minister Kagodu Thimappa said that AICC President Rahul Gandhi who is currently touring Karnataka has infused new strength among Congressmen, especially in the young Congress cadre.

Speaking to reporters, the revenue minister said that Congress with its rich legacy is not that easy to be wiped out from the political history of the country. BJP is something which is a recent party and has no proper history. It is sad that BJP compares itself with Congress. He said Congress has laid a strong foundation to fight against BJP in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state. The party will not fear the political campaigning by Narendra Modi and Amith Shah.

He said anyone can contest from anywhere as suggested or decided by the high command. Everyone should abide by the decision taken by the high command. He also expressed his ignorance over the so-called proposed birthday celebrations of Bahamani Sultan by the state government as alleged by the BJP.
