<p class="title">A 26-year-old man plunged to death from the terrace of a five-storey paying guest accommodation on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Rishab Shukla had been working for an IT firm in Jigani for the past two months and lived in a paying guest accommodation at Doddathoguru in Electronics City.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Shukla, a native of Nagpur in Maharashtra, used to stay on the fifth floor.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On Saturday morning, he went straight up to the terrace and jumped to his death, the police said. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Passersby found him lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police. The Electronics City police have shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to his family, Shukla was suffering from kidney aliments and was depressed.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Shukla reportedly spoke to his sister on Friday night about what was bothering him, the police said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"He may have been depressed over his illness and taken the extreme step," a police officer said.</p>
