<p>A nine-year-old boy was burnt alive in an accidental in a field at Kuruvinkoppa, Kalghatgi taluk on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Chandan Sahadevappa Sangolli.</p>.<p>It is said Chandan, who was partially disabled, was playing with toys along with other children near the haystack in the field. An accidental fire broke out in the haystack.</p>.<p>On spotting the fire, the children started running helter-skelter. Chandan could not run and was caught in the fire.</p>.<p>On getting information, fire fighters rushed to the spot to rescue Chandan. However, all their efforts went in vain. A case has been registered at Kalghatgi rural police station and investigation is on.</p>
