16 senior IPS officers promoted or shifted

Seemanth Kumar Singh, who was Bellary SP, has been posted as the Commissioner of Police to Mangalore city, after promoting him to the rank of deputy inspector general of police (DIG).

Gopal B Hosur, who was IG, Western range in Mangalore, has been transferred without posting, while Bipin Gopal Krishna, who was ADGP (Prisons), has been made ADGP (Internal Security) for Bangalore.

P Ravindranath, IGP, Administration, Bangalore, has been transferred as IGP, Excise Enforcement Cell, Bangalore.
