INCP releases manifesto

Announcing that building corruption-free government, fee-less education and extortion-free society as its aim, the Indian New Congress Party (INCP) has released its manifesto for the Assembly elections.

Rs 8,000 monthly pension for farmers above 60 years of age, reduction in the cost of government operations, distribution of Constitution book to each household, and establishment of farmers' authority to help farmers, are among the major assurances given in the INCP manifesto.

INCP president Ayub Khan told media persons here on Wednesday that the party would field its candidates in all 224 constituencies, while discussion is on with Upendra and Vartur Prakash also.

Free education till PUC, widening of roads, irrigation, total ban on tobacco, cancellation of foreign tour of people's representatives, helmet rule only outside city limits, and other programmes are included in the INCP manifesto.
