Voter regn: 6.45L applications received

Around 6.45 lakh applications were received across the state during the special voter enrollment drive organised by the Election Commission of India on Sunday, reports DHNS from Bengaluru. The applications were for inclusion of names in the electoral roll, change of address and correction of names on the voter's list. The drive was conducted across 30 districts. "We have received 6,45,555 applications, the highest being 1,30,466 in BBMP limits," said chief electoral officer Sanjeev Kumar.
