<p>Three people, including two children, were killed on the spot after a truck toppled on a car that was parked on roadside near Somawarpet on Saturday.</p>.<p>The victims hailed from Kulurgi village, Indi taluk, in Vijayapura district. They were returning after a trip to Tamil Nadu when the accident occurred, said the police.</p>.<p>The driver of the truck lost control over the vehicle and it toppled on the car which was parked on roadside, killing the driver and two children on the spot.</p>.<p>Members of victims' family had asked the driver to park the car so that they would get down and drink tender coconuts.</p>
