But the director-producer duo have buried the hatchet and Saxena says he respects Mundhra as a director and considers him the “captain of the ship.”

“When two creative people meet, there are bound to be differences but those are differences that can be sorted out. I don’t see what the entire hullabaloo is about. From my side the differences have been sorted out,” said the actor who shot to fame with the soap Kkusum. He said that problems arose as he was not only the actor but also the producer of the movie and their different viewpoints lead to clashes.

“As an actor, you want to do the best for yourself and as a producer, you want to do the best for the movie. When you don’t get to do that, you tend to be disappointed,” said Saxena. “Jagmohan is a good director, a different director who knows his craft well which is evident in his three decade long stint in Bollywood. But one has to remember that the director is not the only one who has stakes in the making of a movie,” he added.
