Their action will preserve ethics and moral values in the society,” Shivayogiswamy added.<br /><br />Chikkaballapur MLA K P Bache Gowda who spoke on the occasion said in order to promote higher education at district-level basic amenities have been provided at the Government First Grade College in the City. <br /><br />The evening college has been converted into Women’s First Grade College to provide easy access to higher education for girls,” Gowda added.<br /><br />Chintamani DySP T Gangadharaiah said that students should know the importance of higher education. The students who are highly educated should develop human values and should follow the principles of Buddha, Basava, Ambedkar and others, he added.<br /><br />Circle Inspector Shiva Kumar said that crime was rise in the society as people gave less importance to morality. <br />The present day youth should think about leading a meaningful life and should tread good path.<br /><br />‘Set high goals’<br />Industrialist S Krishnan said that student should set high goals for them and should achieve them.
