A Bench of Justices J M Panchal and R M Lodha dismissed the bail plea of the accused on Friday.
B M Govardhan Murthy, a film producer and a real estate baron had filed a bail application before the Apex court challenging the Karnataka High Court order which had denied bail to Murthy who was arrested for allegedly killing Vinod on October 7, 2008.
Murthy has been in jail since his arrest by the Bangalore Police on October 11, 2008.
