Basketball: State Youth meet: Beagles and N Shetty prevail among girls

SAI booked their place in the last eight with a 27-26 win here at the Sree Kanteerava stadium. SAI were joined by Ulsoor Sports Union, VBC (Mandya), Kanaka (Kolar) and Greens (Davangere) in the round of eight.

In the girls’ category, Beagles and N Shetty, Mangalore moved into the quarterfinals with wins against Appaiah Basketball Club and Merchants, Davangere, respectively.
