Cooperation Minister Lakshman Savadi on Tuesday blamed Revanna of evading several notices served on him seeking reply to the audit of KMF accounts from 2000-01 to 2007-08.

The BJP dominated KMF now plans to confront Revanna, who is one of the directors of the Federation, at the next board meeting. Revanna headed KMF for more than a decade since 1998. “Notices seeking reply to the audit findings had been dispatched to Revanna at least six times, but each time, he refused to accept the same on some pretext. However, a notice will now be served on Revanna at the board meeting,” he said. Savadi, however, refused to divulge the contents of the audit report.

Savadi said the government will extend all possible help for the 14 cooperative federations in the State. Most of the federations have been bagged by the BJP during the recent elections to the cooperatives.

A road map for each of the Federation will be finalised after discussing with the members, Savadi said.
