Taunted, girl commits suicide

According to police, she was upset when two drivers Nanjunda and Umesh taunted her while she was celebrating along with her friends over her SSLC results. A depressed Manjushree hanged herself at her Nagawara Palya  residence. Nobody was in the house, except her five-year-old brother. The incident came to light when Manjushree’s another brother returned home. No death note was found. Manjushree was rushed to CMH Hospital where she was declared brought dead.

Eldest child of Manjunath, a driver, she was often abused by the two drivers, according to her father. In his complaint, Manjunath alleged that Manjushree ended her life unable to tolerate the insults. Byappanahalli police are on the look-out for the suspects.

Failed student ends life

C Naveen of Manjunath Nagar, West of Chord Road, allegedly ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan of his house on Tuesday evening after he failed in two subjects in the PUC II exams. Basaveshwarnagar police have booked a case.
