Judicial Magistrate Ravikanth adjourned the hearing when the case came up before him.
Halappa is facing allegations of raping his friend's wife Chandravathi in November. Chandravathi alleged that he had raped her in their house and later threatened her and her family.Halappa, currently under judicial custody, has been undergoing treatment in a hospital in Bangalore.
