JOIN USA well-equipped CET seat selection centre at the Dr R H Kulkarni Memorial Lecture Hall in BVB College of Engineering & Technology campus in Hubli is ready to take up the process from June 11.
CET co-ordinator (North Karnataka) Alka Kulkarni, and BVB College Principal Ashok Shettar said here on Monday that the centre set up in a spacious building comprises separate sections including waiting room to facilitate the students. Wide screens have been installed for the online display of the seat variations which would help the candidates to zero down on the colleges they wish to join sitting in the waiting hall itself. Already, the demo-run has been taken up successfully and the selection process would begin as per the schedule, they explained.
As all the three centres would be working on a single database, the candidates can attend the selection process either in Hubli, Gulbarga, or in Bangalore as per the schedule.
The merit order would not be disturbed as the software would not allow to get the seat by next ranking candidate unless the previous rank holder makes his/her choice, she added.
