OIL Q4 net up 6-fold

Oil India Limited, on Wednesday, reported a six-folds jump in its net profit at Rs 430.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31 (Q4), over the same period last year. It had a net profit of Rs 70.75 crore in Q4 2009.

Total operating income rose to Rs 1,870 crore for the January-March quarter from Rs 1,400 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.

For the year ended March 31, the company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,161 crore.
