Girinagar police arrested the accused, who had fled away with Rs 39 lakh cash and jewellery worth Rs 42 lakh, belonging to MLC Prof M R Doreswamy’s daughter
Dr Roopa recently. The accused, Ashwath Narayan (37), is from Elachenahalli. Narayan had carried out the theft with the help of Roopa’s car driver and his brother Prakash.
