According to the order copy, only a part of the information sought was given to the applicant. A warning was given to Gowda to furnish the information or else penalty may be levied on him. This warning too could not change him.
During a recent hearing when the petitioner complained that he did not receive the desired information, CIC K K Mishra took a strong note and levied maximum penalty. Mishra asked the Engineer-in-Chief to collect the penalty in five installments from the salary of the officer and deposit the money in government’s bank account.
