Mayor S K Nataraj too was quick enough to suspend him for two days. Mallesh was highlighting the problem of traffic chaos due to a residential apartment in his area. He said the BBMP was not willing to increase the width of the road under duress from the influential builder. He asked the Mayor to call the officials to look into the matter and widen the road. The Mayor said he would discuss the matter with the officials first.
In the meantime, Mallesh threw papers pertaining to the project towards the Mayor. An angry Mayor immediately ordered his suspension for three months and asked him to leave the hall immediately. Later, Mayor Nataraj reduced Mallesh’s suspension period from three months to two days.
