12 injured in three separate accidents

A lorry transporting vegetables to Chennai turned turtle after ramming into a tree branch near Panasamakanahalli on Saturaday night injuring the driver and a mechanic. The lorry had broken down mid way and was repaired by the mechanic Mustafa, who was also travelling by the same vehicle.

He has sustained fracture of leg. The injured have been admitted to Kolar hospital. Though the accident occurred mid night, it is said  cellphones, jack, money kept in the vehicle cabin and few sacks of cabbage in the lorry had been stolen. A case has been registered.
In another incident persons on a motorcycle sustained grievous injuries in a head-on collision between the two-wheeler they were riding and a KSRTC bus at the same spot on Sunday. Krishnappa (55) and another Krishnappa (53) of Holur village are the injured. They were shifted to Kolar hospital by Arogya Kavacha ambulance. Eight persons including the driver sustained grievous injuries as the lorry they were travelling fell into a road-side gorge near Yadaruru on Srinivaspur-Mulbagal Road on Saturday mid night. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital.
