Lectra's new initiative for apparel biz

Briefing reporters Managing Director Prashanth L J said: “we have a three pronged initiative that will enable manufacturers to automate, integrate and optimise their cutting room operations namely product, service and consulting.

He said Lectra will provide consultancy to its clients and other big manufacturers to help them understand their present structures and procedures in manufacturing and also advice on newer systems required. He said Lectra enjoys 100 per cent market share in providing design, cutting and other technologies for firms that are into wind energy in the country, as also is competent in the auto and aerospace industry. The firm also has tie-ups with educational institutes to train people with technologies.
