JOIN USThe practise followed a recent circular issued by the district administration to all government offices to use milk products of the government-owned "Parag" in meetings and also in press conferences in place of cold drinks, tea/coffee and chips served earlier on such occasions, official sources said today.
The change was visible at a press conference held by district magistrate Mukesh Meshram yesterday when mediapersons were presented a glass of lassi along with peda (sweet). S P Gupta, General Manager of Parag told PTI that the sale of its products has increased ten-fold following the directive.
District Chief Medical Officer Ashok Mishra welcomed the change saying it would promote health. The GM said after government offices, they would now target private companies to subscribe its products for similar functions.
