It has a vibrant collection of sarees, dress materials, duppattas, in a variety of textures and bright colours from across Andhra Pradesh.

One of the dominant features of cotton handlooms from Andhra Pradesh is that the fabric is woven with dyed yarn in different counts and weaving techniques. This forms the basis of DAMA’s production base. The main product range includes off-the-loom creations such as yardage, dupattas and sarees.

The product range available at this exhibition includes bordered yardage in zari, exclusive khadi varieties in vegetable dyes, new textures in fine counts and double counts, traditional vat indigo and natural-dyed plain, stripes and checks, kalamkari prints on Kora and up to 1,000 dupattas to mix and match.

This annual exhibition is being organised at the Lady Kothari Jehangir Memorial Hall, Queen’s Road till June 15, between 10.30 am and 8 pm.
