The glittering opening was attended by various dignitaries and top executives from around the City. The grand opening featured many events and celebrations and started out with a Carnatic music concert which was enjoyed by everyone present.

The crowd was an interesting mix of people, both young and old, who were there to check out the diverse collection of jewellery.

Each of the floor of the showroom was inaugurated separately as each of them were a new world in their own right. The ground floor of the showroom was inaugurated by S K Natraj, the mayor of BBMP. The second floor was inaugurated by D J Alexander, former chief secretary and former minister of Karnataka. The third floor was opened by Irfan Razack, CMD Prestige Group followed by the inauguration of the fourth floor by N A Harris, MLA, Shanthala Nagar constituency.

The highlight of the opening was the sprawling spread of four floors featuring chic, contemporary, ethnic and traditional jewellery for the customers of Bangalore. “It is a pleasure to open our showroom in the beautiful city of Bangalore. The city has been on my wishlist for years now but we waited for the right location to ensure the best to the cosmopolitan population of the city. Bangalore is special and with our showroom, we hopefully will convey thus to our valued patrons in this city,” said Joy Alukkas, Chairman of Joy Alukkas.

The new store is aimed to ensure a delightful shopping experience to the jewellery lovers.The first two floors are dedicated for gold jewellery, traditional as well as modern. The levels also featured exclusive jewellery in platinum, hi-end diamond sets and everyday wear.

The third level showcased collections in pearl, diamond and precious stones like Masaki pearls, Mist, Ovio, Trestelle, Sveni etc and also a dedicated section for silver artifacts, utensils and jewellery.
