Still missing, after three weeks

While thoughts of kidnap have also run across their minds and a complaint has been lodged with the Mico police about the same, nobody seems to have any idea of his whereabouts till date.

Hailing from Ashoknagar in Mangalore, Shetty was a retired Vijaya Bank Branch Manager, who joined Muthoot Finance about 11 months ago and had been working at the firm’s Tavarekere branch for eight months before the incident.

On June 18, he had reportedly left office at about 6.15 pm, as confirmed by the security guard, and has been missing since then. The family, in deep distress, is scouting for every possible option to find details about him but has only been left wanting for the same.
“We don’t know if he has been kidnapped. We don’t know anything and worse nobody seems to know anything about him,” Shetty’s daughter Rachana Shetty lamented, while adding that they contacted every single person that her father could visit, tried all the possible means to find details –– all gone in vain.
