JOIN US Addressing the press persons here on Friday, Chandru said that lands were acquired and handed over to OMPL and ISPRL under MSEZ but the compensation package that MSEZ declared did not reach eligible beneficiaries as lot of partiality has been done while providing rehabilitation and resettlement. Even after furnishing valid documents, the facilities for the displaced people is being denied and delayed, he alleged.
Earlier, when the information was sought from the public under RTI Act, the MSEZ was providing them the required information but off late they refuse to provide the information and reply that the information they are asking for does not fall under RTI and thereby they are not maintaining the transparency. So Namma Mane Namma Ooru organisation has filed a case against MSEZ under Karnataka Lokayukta Act 1984, Rule (7) informed B S Chandru.
