JOIN US“They were not known to each other. Bernard and Vasanth were drinking in a bar in Vishweshwar Nagar on Wednesday night, when they quarreled for some unknown reason. Bernard attacked Vasanth with a knife injuring him on his face. Vasanth managed to snatch the knife and stabbed Bernard to death,” the police said.
Bernard was rushed to the hospital with four injuries and died later. Vasanth is under treatment.
Electrocuted
Mahalakshmi (27), a construction worker from Tamil Nadu, was electrocuted in the KR Puram police limits on Wednesday.
She was working in an under construction building in Vijaya Bank Colony with her husband when the mishap occurred.
She was immediately shifted to a hospital when she accidentally stepped on live wire. She died a few hours later, said the police.
