'Plea to set up dairy in Tarikere'

KMF chief asserts that their products are of superior quality

On his way to N R Pura, Somshekhar Reddy paid a courtesy visit to the residence of Tarikere MLA D S Suresh. Speaking to Deccan Herald, he informed that a topographical survey in Chikmagalur is being conducted with the intention to establish a KMF diary in the district and the necessary steps for the establishment of the diary will be undertaken at the earliest.

Apart from it, talks have been held with the Animal Husbandry Minister Revu Nayaka Belamagi in order to establish an animal husbandry college in Amrutha Mahal Kaval of Ajjampura, he said.

In the meantime, MLA D S Suresh requested Reddy to choose Tarikere taluk for the establishment of the intended KMF dairy. BJP Working Committee member N Manjunath ascertained that Malnad being the popular abode for quality production of milk is the best place for the establishment of dairy.
