Addressing participants at the event organised at the Office of the Block Education Officer(BEO), Amaresh urged parents to extend educational opportunities to physically challenged children without discrimination.
All children are given the same priorities by the government, facilities have been provided and it is the responsibilty of the authorities to distribute the wheelchairs, he said. BEO S V Padbhanabhayya was present and explained the various government programmes for the physically challlenged. The programme was attended by Taluk Panchayat President Redappa, Ex Vice President and member N Venkatesh Gowda, Educationist G Nagraj, Town Municipal Council Ex President Muniraju Aliyad Yamanna, Taluk Panchayat Officer Sanjappa,Vice President of State High School Teachers Association M Shanker and others were present.
