Kumble had kept an expensive cellphone, three gold-coated coins, Rs 3,000 in cash, three credit cards, a debit card in the sports kit and documents pertaining to air travel, all valued at Rs 45,000, said Cubbon Park police.
Kumble came to M Chinnaswamy Stadium around 8 am for practice. He kept the sports kit aside and began practising. He finished the practice around 9.30 am and returned to find his kit missing, added the police.
Kumble would always use one of the coins to toss in every match. There are no CCTVs installed inside the stadium. The stadium security personnel have been interrogated. The police are taking the help of CCTV footages installed at entry and exit points to nab the culprits, the police said.
