Monetary aid for setting up hostels

Students not more than 30 per cent of the total sanctioned strength can also be admitted to such hostels. Widows and destitutes too could be given admission in special cases.

The Department bears 50 percent of the building rent and 75 per cent of the money for furniture, utensils etc up to a maximum of Rs five lakh.

A sum of Rs 650 will be paid monthly for food for widows, destitutes and students. More information can be got from the Department. Applications must reach the office before July 31, an official press release said.
