The demonstration was held in the wake of constituting a high school students’ association. Election paraphernalia was brought from the Taluk Office to make the event more authentic.
The students were enlightened on notification of polls, scrutiny of nominations, withdrawal, election campaign and counting of votes. The students’ association was constituted by conducting elections democratically.
Teacher Kembodi Nagaraj functioned as Returning Officer while teachers Shivaraj, Manjunath, Honnaraju, Shatif, Shanthakumari, Reena, Narasimha Murthy and Govinda Naika functioned as polling officers.
