The deceased has been identified as Vishwanath Moolya alias Visil Vishwa, a resident of Kalkani. The incident occurred when he along with his friend was having tea at a restaurant.Miscreants wearing helmate came in an Omni car and stabbed Vishwanath by pointing a gun at him and fled the scene. It was said that there were five persons in the vehicle.It was said that Vishwanath was the main accused in the murder of Dhanyakumar Kadambu. The police have taken Sunish, Padangadi Praksh and Vithesh to custody in the evening. SP Dr A S Rao, ASP Amith Singh visited the spot. Undertrial ends life in jailAn undertrial committed suicide by hanging at Udupi district prison on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Krishna (38) alias Sheena Marakala. A case has been registered.
