<p>The decision was taken at an emergency meeting called by the Association here on Thursday. <br /><br />The meeting’s purpose was to discuss the implication of withdrawing cashless facility by insurance companies and what action should be taken to recover the pending amount. <br /><br />Attended by 162 hospital and nursing home owners and some Corporate hospitals like Fortis and Apollo, the members felt that TPAs should be asked to immediately clear outstanding amount. <br /><br />Also, a few hospitals and nursing homes, who recently signed the MoU due to the 'arm-twisting' tactics used by TPAs, will withdraw from the agreement. <br /></p>
