Rs 3.45 cr theft: No breakthrough yet

“The police have constituted four different teams to zero in on suspects. Two teams are working in Bangalore City, while two others in two neighbouring states. We are probing the case with available clues,” said Halasuru Gate sub-division ACP Gachinakatti.

The police are learnt to have quizzed all employees, including Naresh, the owner and his most trusted employee Suresh, on Tuesday as well.

Whereabouts of Dhan Singh (32), the firm employed security guard are not known. It is yet to be ascertained whether he absconded or was eliminated, said the police.

The thieves broke open gate of Micro International on Avenue Road on Sunday night to gain entry inside. They secured keys of a safe locker kept in a table drawer at the reception counter. They opened the locker, collected the money and fled leaving behind the key in the locks. The theft came to light on Monday when Suresh came for duty.
