Hearing a petition by Rathnamma and Nagaraju, parents of the deceased child Anjushree who have moved the High Court seeking Rs 10 lakh as compensation, the Court has ordered notice to the State Government. The child was washed away in river Kabini in H D Kote on January 31, 2007, when the boat capsized due to overloading while crossing the river.
