Lindsay Lohan leaving rehab this week: Report

Last Updated 17 August 2010, 02:52 IST

As doctors at the rehab facility don't think that the 24-year-old's psychiatric problems are severe, she will leave the sober house and begin getting outpatient care this week, reported TMZ.

The troubled star will leave UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital this week after doctors found out that the actress does not have bipolar disorder as was suspected earlier.
According to the website, the doctors have not written their final report but they have already come to the conclusion that Lohan's psychiatric issues are not as serious as they first thought.

Moreover, the doctors believe that Lohan's reported addiction to the prescription drug Adderall is not a serious one.

If the actress' doctors write their final report, mentioning that releasing her is a good idea, her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley can go back into court and request the judge to allow her client to have outpatient care.

The 'Mean Girls' star checked into the UCLA facility soon after she was released from the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California on August 2.

Lohan was ordered to complete 90-day in the rehab facility and will face another term in prison if she violates her probation.

Once she completes her rehab stint, she will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing until August 2011, when her probation term ends.
