Seven-year-old girl electrocuted

The Nandini Layout police identified the deceased as Naseera, the second daughter of Mansur, a snake charmer and a resident of the Colony.

Police said that Naseera was on her way to a nearby shop, when she accidentally touched the earthing wire of an electric pole while crossing over the road.

The police have registered a case of negligence against the contractor who took up the installation work of the electric pole.
